I don't particularly avoid contact with the family dog. I don't typically initiate anything, but I also won't stop her from kissing me if she ever decides she wants to and the situation is appropriate.

The only reason I can think of for this is if you were living with other people who are not zoos and don't know you are one. I live alone with my girl, and we make love about every other day.
