Do I Tell Her?

Met an amazing woman who I’m dating. Very sexual and passionate and seems open to trying new things. I’ve been in relationships where I have told the other that I am zoo. Some were ok with it but wouldn’t be involved, one got into it and enjoyed it, one it ended our relationship. I don’t want to hide it from her so I feel it needs to come out at some point. How have others hinted about it without coming out to see how the other reacted? Would you tell her early so if it goes badly you are not too far down the path or would you wait and maybe lose everything?
 
Thanks for this thread. Maybe I should try telling her as well. Wish me luck. I don't wanna get flamed like the other person for asking non zoo to zoo conversions.
 
Some bells are best unrung.

Ask yourself first, why do you want/need to tell her: Do you want her to participate? Are you so active that you could not participate privately? If you are not active currently and your current participation is limited to interests in porn, etc., why the need to confess.

There are plenty of turn-ons in this world. No need to share them all. My wife has a thing for Chris Hemsworth. I do not need to know all she imagines doing with him.

Baring one's soul without a reason can be pointless, unnecessarily hurtful or complicating, or flat-out dumb.

I love that you told her & I love the response you received. The best relationships are the ones where you put it all on the table. You never know, you may just be surprised ?
 
Definitely the right call!! I find that if the connection is real and genuine, even if the partner in your life isn’t into it themselves, they’ll at least be open to hearing you out, learning about it, and accept it as apart of you. Congratulations! I was nervous to tell my current gf about it, but she embraced this aspect of me with open arms and even worked up the courage/curiosity to experiment a bit herself. I definitely like it more than she does, and that’s okay, she accepts me for me and that’s all I can ask for!!
