I did some light searching on the internet about the topic since I was curious if my dog was enjoying it like I do and couldn’t really find any concrete evidence that female animals have orgasms. Most of the results I find on this site seems to say yes but provides little proof for it while others seems to say no or uncertain. Personally while fingering my bitch I can feel her contracts on my finger but some says this is just her stimulating the knot. Also, when I rub her clit she twitches. Even simpler animals than dogs.
In my opinion the orgasm is an incredibly old evolutionary invention. The only reason why we do not want animals to have them is our nonsensical sense of superiority over them.

Every single animal wants to have sex, find mates and lots of them appear to enjoy having sex or even masturbate.
Including canines.
Even if for some reason female dogs did not experience the exact equivalent of human orgasm, it is undeniable that female dogs like sex, masturbate and ask for sex. Which means they enjoy having sex even if they maybe do not experience an orgasm the same way we do.
