First, Happy New Year to everyone!
Now, I discovered this forum yesterday and, as the title says, it was eye-opening. I'm not a zoophile. I have a few fantasies about horses but that's where it stops. I'd never actually do anything. In reality I don't even like animals - the mess, the smell, the care needed... and am even scared of larger ones. So yeah, a strange situation to be in (fantasising about sex with horses while being scared of them and disgusted by them at the same time).
Anyway, what I wanted to say was this: before stumbling upon this site, I never trully understood zoophilia. I thought it was just something fun more adventurous owners try. But now I see that for the majority of people here, it's not like that at all. You don't have a choice. It's not an activity, it's a lifestyle. A difficult one. I also never really understood animals (as mentioned, I'm not a fan of them). That they can communicate so much, that they're not just "things" that are there without much mind of their own. So many misconceptions... And I'm certainly not the only one who didn't understand these two things (and I probably still don't understand a hundered others but at least I can try), most people irl don't understand and don't even want to understand... Ignorance. It's a shame.
So, anyway, to keep it short: huge respect to you all.
