Is your activity 100% safe? No. Kissing people isn't even 100% safe, though. Especially right now. So there is some risk of infection. Has it ever hurt me? No.
 
I’ve never run into any health trouble after kissing dogs, OP.
I’ve french kissed around two dozen dogs in the past 15 years or so, and when you add it all up I’ve probably spent literal days with a dog’s tongue in my mouth. :husky_wink:

If you have weak immune system, then maybe avoid kissing strays or farm dogs, haha. Not that I’ve ever had a problem with them.
