Dating Non-Zoos?

Hello everyone! For those of us who date non-zoos or plan on dating, how do you handle disclosing your zoo identity? Do you avoid mentioning it altogether? Do you try to gauge their reaction before revealing anything (and how)? Do you just tell them with hopes they will be accepting and, if you're lucky, supportive? I'm a noob and looking for advice so any is very much appreciated.
 
In my experience you can kind of gauge their reaction based on the kind of person they are. For example if they tend to have a very rigid view of the world and aren't the open minded or adventurous then you can kind of guess that this isn't something they would be into. Granted it isn't always exactly that simple but that is the basic idea. From my personal experience though as long as they get to know you first and you explain it in a gentle way most people are at least willing to accept it. Usually if the person I am dating is someone I don't think will be into it I just describe it as a kink I like to read stories about and gauge their reaction from that. If they respond neutrally or positively I usually feel its safe to mention more. Otherwise I just leave it there. In my experience being zoo alone usually isn't enough to get a person to dislike you. Or maybe I have just been more cautious about who I tell.

She had posted a pic of herself on a popular dating site, hugging her dog. She passingly referred to him as "hubby". She met a date (very next one) and never came home :cry:
 
I've dated several non zoo's over the years. I eventually told every single one that i actually loved. They knew I watched the porn but none were ever ok with it.

It's a waste of time to be honest. Everyone e likes to believe they're significant other will eventually come around. But they never do. I'd rather be with someone I can be my true self around.
 
Last week I said “ I saw a porn that looked really hot of this lady having sex and she sounded like she enjoyed it a lot and there was so much cum” and then when I mentioned the male partner my partner said to me “don’t ever do that”.
