Curious about tourist mode

Curious as how to move on from tourist mode? What steps do I take? Or does it take time?

The user rank normally depends on your number of posts outside the Fun & Games section. Contribute to discussions and it will change eventually. There are also a few ranks awarded independent of the post number. The rank doesn't have much meaning though. Don't worry about it.

I believe it is 150 posts/replies outside of the fun and games section. Don't worry about it too much and participate when you like
