Since January, there has been a 75% increase in the use of malicious Microsoft OneNote docs sent to email accounts.
You can identify them by ".one" or ".onepkg" file extensions. Of course, be wary of any email attachments from unknown senders, but especially OneNote attachments, which are becoming a favorite of hackers.
Keep your anti-virus updated, and new security updates from Microsoft installed, whether you use OneNote or not.
