Hey y'all! Im about to get a 5wk old M RottiCorso mix.

Any pointers on training him and socializing him? My Buddy and i are both Zoo, will be training him together.

Im kind of concerned that he may try to mount others or exhibit more sexual behavior around Non-Zoos. My other friend also has a pure Corso and says his has issues with smegma? is that common?

This will be my first time raising a corso or rotti

Any pointers or best practices would be appreciated! Thank you!

5 weeks is way to early to seperate from mother

8 weeks would be better
12weeks even more

He will have issues if taken from mom before 8 weeks.

Oh shoot ok, yeah this isnt from a breeder so im just going off what they said. Thank you for the advice

And yeah i was gonna wait of course for naughty stuff but thats of course more dependent on whther hes into it

I dont like to be rude, but seems like you have no experience with dogs. A Rottweiler, Cane Corso or mix from both is definitely not a dog breed for first time dog owners.

Dogs this size have a lot of strength, the knot is very large and they don't always behave well. You need to check the puppy's behavior and choose a puppy with calm behavior.

Before trying anything in the future you must analyze the size of his knot and you must train the dog the right way

The dog needs to differentiate when you want sex and when you don't .
Some tips that help:
-always have sex with hom in the same place;
-always use the same scent;
-always wear the same clothes;
- always use the same positive words;
-make the same affectionate gestures;

>>this way he will understant that you are in heat.

At inappropriate time:
-use words like NO, STOP, QUIET.



-never mix these signals
