Can you use lube on a k9? If so, what kind?

I want to know if there’s any type of lubricant that you can use that is safe for dogs, as to not cause any irritation.

Water based lubes should be ok. But there are veterinary lubes which should be completely safe.

water-based. do keep in mind they produce their own lube, if you mean a canine penetrating you. if you mean you penetrating a canine, then some lube might be a good idea. some girls get less wet than others.
