Can dogs sense if your horny or not?

Some seem to be able to. Though it is questionable whether they just use it as an opportunity to solve their own horniness. :D
My dog though is hornier than I am, so we can have sex pretty much every +- 3 hours.

I don't see why they shouldn't know, dogs feel alot of things about their owner, so I would say that they can detect if you are excited or horny.
 
Oh, absolutely, both my males and females could tell when I want to, and I can tell when they do, which with the boys is almost all the time.
 
My German Shepard seems to be able to. It may be his heightened sense of smell. If I am aroused I am sure I have a scent…and it seems to be a scent he likes!

Anyway. I think they can tell. And sometimes I think it encourages them, like sensing a female is in heat.

He can sense I am aroused or horny or ‘ready’ and he is encouraged to ‘initiate’
 
Our male was definitely able to smell it on both me and my wife. If we had planned to play around with him later in the evening, he just knew hours ahead and would start flirting with us. Showing off e.i
 
I think they generally can. I think what they can pick up on is human signals. So quite likely, if they know you well, they can sense from the body language or the routine, or even just your voice that there is "something" afoot...
But their sense of smell is so good, you could make a case that they have a pheromone detector that could theoretically smell female arousal.
Or just that they are magical sex beings.
Or all of the above.

I think so, or at least she understands the signs. She has a considerably higher sex drive than I do so she's usually the one to initiate. Or when she notices I'm in the mood she wastes no time getting straight to the point.
 
I’m convinced my doggo can. Like others have mentioned, I’m sure I give off a scent when I’m horny and I think he picks up on it as well as other give always that I’m sure I do. My doggo will definitely be following me way more then normal and will be nudging my butt and crotch more.

I'm pretty sure that's the most likely answer as well. Like.. my dogs have 0 reaction when I pick my keys to head out to work, but idk how they figure it out, even when I'm trying to fool them with my lunchbox, work clothes, same timeframe, they know when I grab my keys and I'm trying to fake going to work so they don't come with me on a trip lmao. They know something's up and go bonkers trying to jump in the truck.

Same thing probably applies when we're horny. I'm convinced they can figure out subtle cues we wouldn't even think about when we're in the mood.

Ha. Yep exactly!
They are super smart, and when you've raised a dog from a pup they basically get "tuned in" to what you are thinking or planning based on little cues that even you aren't aware of. One of the most amazing and touching things you will ever see are epilepsy dogs who are trained to sense changes in their human's physiology or behaviour so they know a seizure is coming on, well before the person themselves does.
I have seen dogs who not just warn their two-legged friend, but will get help and even hold the person still during a seizure so they don't fall or hit something.
If that is not just incredibly smart but also incredibly loyal and loving, I don't know what is!

When my dog started to go under my skirt with his nose to sniff me, I wondered why he was so crazy about it. I then tried to inform myself on the net and read somewhere that the "love scents" of a woman and a female dog are very similar or almost the same for a male dog.

they know more ! they pick chemicals from our palms they know if we are nervous ir relaxed and they make choices based on our mood.Horny pussy is his main target but hes a desperate sexually obsessed :) Bullterriers are completely different from other dogs, they don't control themselves at all

exactly! if you have a spayed female, they don't show themselves like that anymore, they are totally disinterested
