Can animals develop a preference for human as parters

I was just curious because I've been so blessed with five Mares and two female dogs but I do know that if there is a Mare in season season and there is a stud close by in the brooding Mares they will go for it I know it's in their nature but I've wondered maybe I've heard a few things don't know if they are Malarkey people making stuff up but is it possible for dogs and horses to like many like us never fuck there own species again

Unlikely. Though it could be possible for hand raised animals from extremely early age or animals that have an imprinting period.

They can have a "preference" but instincts eventually, and always, win the day. My girl as an example only let my boy mount her twice, in the same heat, but spent 4 heats prior, and now this one FULLY denying him, instead flagging me.

Mind you this heat she's been denying me more too, so this one's weird all around lol.

I mean early age wouldn't be that be considered grooming them like a predator it usually involves friendship kindness and Trust not diddling them at a very young age that seems the same thing as messing with underage humans which is disgusting though that's why when I had a puppy I wanted to make sure that she was ready before I even did anything to her

I was actually talking about known cases of wild animals kept in captivity, hand raised, bottle fed who later in life had difficultly mating with their own species.
I am pretty sure this topic has been researched and it should be possible to find articles about these issues.

Would you happen to have one of those articles on hand I don't know how to find one of them and honestly I wouldn't know where to search

"Many zoological institutions hand-rear offspring if rearing by the mother fails. Hand-rearing can cause behavioural problems, resulting in decreased copulation and lower breeding success in some species."

My female Lab is spayed so probably a skewed example, but aside from occasionally letting my boy lick her out, she won't let any male dogs near her rear. With me on the otherhand she rarely says no and will ask for fun a whole lot when she's going through a horny phase, even keeping me awake at night. If she was intact then maybe she would be different especially during heats, who knows.
