Camping/Hiking Trip

HyperWoof

Esteemed Citizen of ZV
There's no off topic or other relevant forum section, so this is where I shall broadcast my recent outing. (get on it @ZTHorse ) Went camping with some family and friends here in central BC. Woofer had a great time and is still sleeping off the weekends activity.

Backpacked into an unnamed beautiful lake, and spent the night there before hiking to summit the peak. Probably the most beautiful place i've ever been, and i've been to a lot of different places.
I'm really surprised my boy was able to complete the hike considering the steep boulder fields we came across, but he's half mountain goat it seems.

Nice view. But you might want to edit out that guy's face in the second picture...

I remember when the peaks used to be covered in snow :C

Beautiful shots @HyperWoof. Thank you for sharing them.

I look forward to hiking again soon, too. Unfortunately my dog's health did not allow us to go into the mountains in recent years anymore.

My man theres no way anyone would be able to identify me based off of that far ass pic. it's a scaled down resolution than the original

Those are AMAZING pictures! Thank you for sharing them here. You are so fortunate to be able to share this with your pup!

Wow stunning photos, dogs are definitely perfect hiking partners. My boy is clumsy as hell but my girl is also like a mountain goat.
It's always funny to see dogs before and after a long hike, so much enthusiasm at the start but like "please no more walkies ?" at the end

Amazing!! That's the kind of live I want!!!

Unfortunately my dog is old and going around the block it's already too much for her. And I didn't have places like that close to where I live when she was younger, but I love hiking and cold places with mountains and lakes! :husky_love:

Ah that's too bad but the dogs always come first, my boy's a senior now so we limit the distance. He usually has a little power nap when we stop for lunch, then he's ready to go again.
