I’m newer to this and I was wondering has anyone ever gotten bit during the mounting process?

No, dogs are not cats.

No only they might scratch you. Best to have socks on them to avoid it.

I guess though they might nip a bit if they don't want to and you keep pushing. Would depend a lot on breed and personality.

I have been nipped. Usually it is just part of our play before things get sexual. Being on the floor, pushing and nuzzling and usually playing tug with a toy or something like that. Play can get intense and I have been nipped, but not maliciously or ever hurt.

When I am busy at the computer and my dog wants attention, just to be cuddled, he comes and puts his head on my legs. if I ignore him then he bites my hand or my arm, but as soon as his teeth touch my skin he is totally careful and gentle. makes me smile also.
