For the male animal makes no difference if its owner is male or woman, I do not know if he can differ, the fact is that he will try to fuck him the same way and from what I have seen I believe most of the active zoophiles are bisexuals. So bisexuality is something standard in the zoo world. Are you also bisexual or identifies as a straight?

Then why is a strong social hierarchy one of the pennants to domestication? They have to at the very least see us as an ugly version of their species right? That's what I've always assumed at least.

I believe studies have shown that dogs recognize us a "not dog". Whether they find us attractive is up in the air, but they do love their owners as part of their family! That's where the strong social hierarchy comes into play.

I guess that's what pes meant, as in it's not so much they don't find us attractive as they just have a different type of attracted.
