Best breed to be left alone whilst at work?

Hi

Just wondering what best breed is that is fine and happy being left alone for 4-6 hours whilst at work?

Ideally one that doesn't have seperation anxiety? Etc

Well, I feel like most dogs at least initially will have some form of anxiety, because dogs are social and gregarious creatures, and they need to be around you to socialize and love you. So, happy about being in the crate, probably not so much at first, but later, they will stand it.

To be fair, if you start crate training immediately while the puppy is still very young, then it’s easier for the dog to become accustomed to your absence for periods of time later on. It works quite well, I’ve seen, but in as far as breeds, probably a lower energy pup would be better for a lifestyle like that.

Once the dog gets to a certain age, you should then be able to graduate to periods of time where the dog is left alone out of the crate. That comes much later.
