Being this and being religious

I'm a religious, furry, zoophile dude and it's incredibly frustrating and conflicting. I want to do right by my religion and I want live by my virtues without being lustful. So far I've been successful in that since I've never once touched an animal, and don't plan to unless some stroke of fate changes my mind. I'm a very sexually charged person though, and I've looked at a fair bit of nsfw art and videos. Doing so makes me feel guilty, but it's the only outlet I have for it. I'm lucky enough to be into women too, but since I feel i can't be honest about my sexuality in most relationships I've held off on developing them as I feel it would be dishonest to withhold a part of myself from someone I care about.

The worst part though is not being able to share my experiences anyone whose also lived like this. You don't exactly see a lot of religious furries and zoophiles, and vice a versa. I have a friend I suspect may be a bit like me, but we're both reserved people who would rather talk about anything with each other but our sexuality.

I guess I'm just using this post to vent and get it out there. To anyone else whose has similar experiences or is living a similar way, my heart goes out to you and I hope you find people who can love and understand you.

I used to be religious, now I'm agnostic. I can't even begin to tell you how I work so I sure as hell can't tell you if there is a God or not. Not a soul on this Earth could convince me there is a God. Though what I do know is is I love humans and animals and life, that's for certain. So that's how I live my life. I just love others, love life, and try to be the best person I can. If a God sends me to hell for that why would you want to follow that God in the first place?

It's alright. I was there too. In the end, I lost the whole trust in Christianity, now I'm a Deist. The reality is that you can't keep being all of those without conflict, because they are in conflict.

If you think about zoophilia as something wrong, sinful, I guess you just need to fight all the temptations for the rest of your life.

On the other hand, if you do believe that true zoophilia (not beastiality) is about mutal love and respect, and no harm is being done, then you need to ask yourself a question, whether you want to devote your life to an ancient concept, that strongly condemns something you believe to be good.

Use your religion to justify what you are. It is a very common use for religious texts, to justify whatever you need.
Your god made you this way. (There is some line saying this in the bible somewhere.) So be like this, he wants you to be like this, so therefore it has a purpose for him. Ignore the parts of the book that say otherwise. Cherry picking is an extremely common technique used by religious leaders, so it is obviously a viable way. So use it yourself.
If you can have a gay christian church while having a line in the bible that tells you to kill those people, you can bend the rules enough to have a zoo christian. (Or any other religion, since they are mostly very similar.)

Guess it really comes down to which doctrine you follow, and how strictly you follow it. Some have no noticeable mentions on the subject of zoophilia/bestiality while others have very specific views towards/against it. If you don't adhere to the teachings strictly, which Is what I'm assuming considering you admitted to viewing nsfw art and videos. I would suggest deciding on one or the other. The more you bend the rules of one for the other the more complicated it will get. It already sounds like you're in a quite the precarious and contradictory state now, being "a very sexually charged person" who wants to "live by my virtues without being lustful." I'm agnostic myself but I'll use a bible verse that I find appropriate for your situation. "A house divided against itself cannot stand" from the Bible (Book of Mark, Chapter 3, Verse 25).

Ultimately it's your choice and you were venting not asking for guidance or advice. So do what you think is right. As the Latin proverb goes, "Live your own life, for you will die your own death."

Don't hurt people
Don't hurt animals
Don't judge yourself
That's not your job
It's not any mortals job either.

Religious and a zoophile? Sounds like a Catholic upbringing if ever I heard one, I'm pretty sure the first time I heard anything about beastialiy it was from the bible

If it’s ok for a Christian to eat pork then it’s equally ok for a Christian to lie with an animal. 🤷‍♂️

Honestly you can only do what you’re willing to do. Many people don’t and won’t understand the struggle. I’m in the same boat as you and it’s a daily commitment to try your best, nobody’s perfect

Yeah, keep on fightin the good fight, brotha. Nice dick.

The basics of Christianity, like all other religions teaches people to:

Treat others as they would like to be treated.
Be kind to all creatures.

You can follow these rules and still have sex with God's animals. Religions all use false morality to try to control people. Don't let that happen to you. You can be a Christian and still practice zoo.
