Be Humble and Grateful!

EponasDevotee

We humans REALLY do need to work on our arrogance, ignorance and lack of gratitude. ZT Horse and his staff have provided a haven and resource for zoophiles and those 'seeking' to determine who and what they are. This is an arduous and difficult endeavor to do. This forum offers SO much to so many and each and every one of us should be humble and grateful for what has been given to us here!

I can certainly be grateful to ZT and the team at ZV for the site. But arrogance? Why? Ignorance? Sure, explain to me what I am missing out on.

If you only seek validation from others then you're going to make yourself miserable.

Ego can also be a good thing. Just look out for pride. It largely depends on wherever one "gets results" or not. If you got results to fall back on then you can work with that. When people don't though that's where things get tricky.

People tend to assume and expect things to be a certain way. The most effective way to teach people to be humble is to strip away their delusions to the point they are nothing. Legit. It's the best starting point.

I was humble once. Now I'm not stopping. I can take pride in what I do, that so many fail to do. I have results to fall back on now though. It's when people have yet to understand they can get results that they'll doubt themselves more.

Some people will understand that it can all be a lie. When one reaches a point where there's only observation without judgement then that may be what people call humble.

It might take great pain and loss to understand that. To not fear death. Seems to be the case. People that have nothing to lose seem to have a better understanding.

Some interesting thoughts, thanks for sharing...

Wow, interesting the only two people that have commented on my initial post are banned! *blinks in amazement*

I can't emphasize how important it is to embrace and seize every moment with our loved ones. It's too easy to get distracted by unimportant things. There are no promises about one's tomorrows yet we humans squander our opportunities on too many meaningless things. In the greater context our loved ones and kindness are the ONLY things that matter. This is where our non-human kin hold an advantage over us. They spend more time in the 'right now' than in the past or focusing on what might be tomorrow...
