Aussie Couple - Breed Recommendations

Hi all,
Aussie couple here. We recently lost our precious little girl and will be looking to get a boy in the future, to hopefully fill just a bit of the massive void she has left in our hearts.

Any recommendations for breed? Only licking experience so far and f half is fairly petite so nothing too big.

P.S only accepting DMs from other couples and females sorry. But happy for international friends too. :)

Thank you!! :)

There's a lot more that your need to consider when picking a dog breed than size.

What kind of physical and mental stimulation needs can you handle? Like, you looking for an active adventure buddy or more of a coach potato?

What kind of grooming and shedding needs can you handle?

Are you in an apartment or do have a big house with a big yard? Can you handle barking?

Can you handle a predisposition to dog aggression, same sex aggression, human aggression, or animal aggression?

Can you handle a high prey drive? Does the dog need to be good with cats?

What kind of personality are you looking for? Do you want a friendly outgoing dog? Can you handle a shy or guarding personality?

There's a lot to think about and it's hard giving recommendations without more information.

I'm sorry for your loss though
