I'm functional and maybe next year with new pack members happy again.
This year was fucked up beyond an event horizon. Twice.
 
I'm happy if I take my meds regularly.
Anxiety and depression are hell to deal with, not to mention I'm autistic and have PTSD from childhood abused my dad dished out.

I'm still alive though so that's all that matters, really. Lol ?
 
Can't say I ever really have been. Even with almost 20 different meds, therapy, quitting drugs and drinking, etc.

Mostly yes. I have complains only about some money and time related aspects of my life that right now don't allow me to do simple leisure activities like camping with my dogs...
 
I am no one is happy 100% of the time we all have emotions and go though different thing but I do think im happy most of the time
 
Every time it looks like i'm at rock bottom, i manage to sink a little lower. But i won't get anywhere with this attitude, will i? I'm just living on, trying out ways in which i might get out of this mess, and hoping one of these works. Like Winston's subconscious said in George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four:

We shall meet again where no shadows fall.
 
This is a very hard question to answer for many. Majority of people have mastered wearing a smile as a mask and just revealing that one emotion, while blocking the emotions inside. If someone wants to know if they are truly happy, the best method is to sit on a chair, no music, no tv, no phone, clear your mind and really reflect, connect with yourself. A lot of people don't do this enough because life is busy, but its a really important thing for everyone to do for your mental health. ❤️

True. I oughta do more of that. But oftentimes it fells that these twenty-four hours everyday is way too little to achieve what I want to do with my life, nevermind taking some time to reflect.
But the future can wait. By optimistic measures, I still have decades left to do what I want, and i can't waste days thinking about how i'm wasting said days.

I want to ask in general; what is keeping others from happiness? Do you just feel unhappy for no good reason or do you have a reason to be unhappy?

if i had a reason for it, it could be fixed, or at least understood
i just don't know why
 
lately, not really... came down with a pretty bad infection in my lower jaw a week ago. lost like three more teeth and any right to make fun of british teeth ever again. finding an open emergency room on a weekend while in pure agony was fun (doctors are on strike here atm and don't work at full capacity in most places so the lines are endless). my car decided it's almost it's time and won't run as fast as i need it to.

one kinda bright thing that happened is that i kind of open about what i am to someone and they basically went "i don't give a fuck".
