Are we so outside of societies accepted norms?!

I was taken aback just recently by my sister in law. Over the many years I have known her I have considered her to be a quite sexual creature and had always assumed (because I had never tested the theory by going there) that she would be quite an open minded individual and up for most things! I do recall back in the 80s (yes we are that old lol ) that she was always the spunky one, the party animal etc and very very sexual. But recently over a quiet chat whilst my lady was working the conversation strayed into what would generally be considered in greater society taboo subjects. I was genuinely shocked at her reaction, and the descriptive words she used to express her "disgust" of such things!

Now, a part of me is saying "me thinks she doth protest too much!" But a voice in my head is actually saying that she is generally REALLY disgusted by some subjects! And it got me to thinking... Are we here at ZV and other such taboo sites so outside of societies norms?!

why is this surprising? "we" are monsters to most ppl... why do you think "the act" is illegal? why do you think "we" are usually lumped in the same bag as pedos? ever read the comment section of literally any news article involving it?

Well yeah, I mean it may seem like we're everywhere when you come to places like this but we are still a bit of a minority overall. I've had conversations with people who have very taboo kinks actually shut down and judge me because of what I'm into.

Yup. We are extremely far outside of societies norms. The vast majority of people never have any thought about this kind of stuff and on the rare occasion that some news or weirdo like us brings it up, the normal response is deep disgust.

What people say in a group or with friends, I do not take so seriously what happens at home when they are alone in front of the computer or alone with their four-legged dogs is like I suspect something completely different.

I was at a girl's dinner a few months ago when one of them said damn you read about the man who had sex with horses all at the table said how disgusting how disgusting I also said the same. The funny thing is that just a few hours before I had had sex with my two Mastiff boys and I know that four of those who were at the dinner also have dogs.

In the present overconnected society with cloned values, yes. I mean... YES for sure.

100 years ago as city middle class about the same, but be city low class "scum" and everyone would disgustily expect it from you. Be rich high class at that time and you would be allowed excentricities. If you were on rural areas at that time, you'd just get some smirks and jokes at your back.

So yes. Nowadays we are out of the lgbtfs... alfabet of acceptance.

Yes.

Not really a surprise though. I mean, sexually, we as a society are a lot freakier than we're willing to advertise for fear of judgement. It's 2022, blah blah blah, but there's shit folks just aren't going to advertise or openly say "That's hot!"

For example, the wife and I are bi and occasionally have someone else into the bed. In my experience, telling another person that you let another man penetrate your wife and they look at you like you are crazy. Say you let another guy cream your wife and you cleaned up the mess and its like you're the anti.

So, for those into the zoo realm, if the above mentioned gets that type of result??? pssssh. This is why the interwebs are awesome for finding like-minded individuals to avoid ever dealing with that nonsense.

I've seen that some people who have unorthodox views or who are into some semi taboo things, will shame other things that are more taboo to make themselves seem more acceptable to others and to reassure themselves.

It's like how many in the gay community would denigrate the idea of having multiple partners because it made them seem more acceptable (especially when homosexuality was much more borderline-accepted by most people).

That could be the case for your sister-in-law

Of course we are! It doesn't come off as a surprise to me at all.

On a relative note, I often find myself thinking about older. far gone civilizations and their depictions of bestiality. The Ancient Greeks, for example, have many tales and legends of gods taking the form of animals to mate with humans. I can't help but wonder if their idea of bestiality was more interconnected with spirituality than we think.

I think over time things will change (hopefully) and be viewed more how homosexuals we're once viewed. The act of which is still banned and illegal in parts of the world similar to sexual acts with a animal.

We are outside of the socially accepted norms of soceity.
We are deviants, embrace the diviant ?
