Any suggestions on how to deal with termites.

Long story short, back in my freshman year of high school I built a shelf, now recently in my room when going to bed and when things were silent I heard chewing, buzzing, etc coming from where my shelf was. I recently discovered this, so if anyone has suggestions on how to clean the inside of the shelf I'd appreciate it, as I really don't want to throw it out.

With this virus going on that isn't really something that's possible atm, plus kinda tight on money atm as well.

I can't really say much about the bookshelf, but you definitely need to figure out where the termites came from. If they're in your walls, you have a serious problem and you will need to call an exterminator. ASAP.
