Any others who have stopped?

I stopped when I first got pregnant but always missed it and only started again when my youngest left home. Been making up for lost time. Very interested in chatting to other older ladies who enjoy the same things if there are any around.
I'm not older (33) but stopped because of family as well. Let me know if you want to chat

I wouldnt say I've "stopped"
As in truth I've never taken advantage of opportunities I've had to do it.

Personally my attraction to animals isint as strong as the average zoo and I suspect this influences that greatly.

Zoo for me is about fighting for the rights of other zoos and educating non zoos about us.

Who knows perhaps I'll have a change of heart down later in life and have my first zoo experience. For now however things lay were they are.

I did for a while because I hated who I was and thought it was wrong. I tried to be the person I was "supposed" to be. I was pretty successful but I was miserable and started to make most of the people around me miserable. Actually I was a pretty bad human for a while. I realize for me a lot of my good qualities are linked with this love for animals and being able to bond with them. I don't know if it is morally wrong but I am a much better person letting myself be who I am and including the love of animals as a part of me.

I've stopped, but i don't see if i'll continue later or not. I know the feeling, when you need to pick up a way and you need to move on. But life is like a rollercoaster, i hope to find a way to enjoy this in a future

Hi, I stopped a few years ago. I'm curious to talk to others who have given this up. What made you quit? How has it been for you? Please message me.

Edit: I should add, I meant fully stopped, not because of lack of opportunity, but a conscious choice not to do it.

Harder for me to answer as I'm a guy, but my first zoo girlfriend "J" (we were both 25) stopped when she got married to a doctor at 29 and they had kids shortly after. About 15 years after that I did hear from someone else in the community (female good friend of hers) that she was keeping a new boy for "J" at her place and she would stop by occasionally. There was no way she would have been able to share her desires with her husband or family, and she did stop for a long time. I can only imagine how hard it was for her to keep her true self hidden so well.

Some choices are easy to make but still difficult. Thank you for sharing that.

I've tried a few times but it's really difficult and kinda like a pressure that just builds and builds, how's it going for you ?
Also I've found most women into it are kinda problematic to have around lol, not quite sure how to describe it or even what's up with that
