Pretty much what the title says- I’ve been cruising the web outside of zoo spaces and happened to catch some audio of “debates” if you even want to call them that of anti’s just screeching animal fucker over and over.

Just Christ it feels like talking to a brick wall at times. I get if Zoophilia isn’t your cup of tea everyone is entitled to an opinion, but the way antis paint the typical zoo is so bad and cartoonishly evil.

That and just trying to speak factually on animal behavior but when they do it becomes obvious they have maybe the most bare minimum of knowledge or really have no idea what they’re talking about.

For example according to one Anti it doesn’t matter because I can just groom the dog to obey me no questions asked. Funny enough my dog is a mix of one of the most aloof and independent dog breeds and it shows and I love her for that. I can train her till the cows come home and if she isn’t feelin it she will stop and go her merry way doin her own thing.

just gotta learn to live with us being hated. it's very easy to attack us since we can't really stand our ground. whenever you try to defend zoos anywhere you are in danger of outing yourself in the process, with potentially dire consequences for you and your animals.

the news labeling any sadist a "zoophile" just because they did something to an animal doesn't help. bestialists getting caught while fencehopping, because they really really wanted to fuck an animal too.

it's kinda depressing that "the public" seems to not even try to differentiate us actual zoosexuals (ppl with no attraction to humans) and bestialists/kinksters, but what can you do....

last time i was present in a "discussion" like this the topic got changed right after i asked "why is it okay to slaughter cows for meat, but wanting to pleasure one is a no-no?"

Most of us were broken at one point. Just skim this sight and you will find that out. It’s natural to feel that way just starting to realize what you are. In the end we are own worst villain. Don’t let it win and come to terms that the public view will only get worse. Be morel loving and protective and you will be squared off in your mindset.

To the OP Try not to let the hate get to you. Most of these people don't have intact animals so naturally they don't really understand an animals sex drive and have never witnessed a dog willingly initiating sex with a human. They are jumping to conclusions out of pure ignorance and intolerance. Stay strong and know that your not alone, we support you here, that's what matters don't let the antis get you down

As for 'grooming' an animal for sex: my response to that will always be that it is impossible, they are either interested in it or not and even the ones that are into it will have moments when they aren't in the mood for it and will let you know (its easy to visibly notice when a dog is horny or not, they will either show interest, humping, flagging, or not and may give nonverbal cues to express what they are trying to say. This is why body language is very important) I've seen plenty of newbie "how can I get my dog to be interested" threads on here and my response is always similar as follows: Respect a dogs right to make their own choice to consent or not, dont press the issue because it can lead to further aversion or even getting bit. Wait for them to initiate it if they ever decide they want to they will mount or flag etc.. (Fights between dogs are common when a randy male won't leave a bitch in heat alone that is not in the mood) You can't train a dog to be into sex with any species, their own or others. They either want it or they dont and if they want it the "species barrier" won't matter to them at all like for some reason it does to a lot of humans

the English mastiff we had did not want to hump but loved his bj's. every night i could i took that risk of being caught. now i know the neighbourhood a lot better, there are lanes between fields where i can play at midnight, the wife is used i go out past midnight with the Dane, next male is going to be a therapy dog.

I've known a service dog trainer for many years. Usually they are good at distinguishing when they have a job they need to do, and when it's sexy play time. A therapy dog is mainly just for comfort due to depression, trauma, or PTSD. The dog is trained to comfort you. But sex is usually a seperate activity.

For my friend, in relation to training, when the service dog vest came on, the dog knew it had a job to do. When the vest came off, the dog knew it was able to just be a regular dog.

My newfie was going to be a therapy dog at one point, but her training stopped half way through.

Why are you even staying with your wife?

not much choice in life. both disabled, she owns the house. if i move out then i am homeless and nowhere to go... it is not like i get a mortgage on my income or even get help getting retrained and back in to work. It is about survival, and not burning bridges i might need later on as even if we do split up i might live under her roof in a trade off to not be homeless.
