Another question for male dog owners, do your male dogs try to have sex with others or do they try just with you?

I’m finding reading all your experiences really informative and educational and I’m absolutely loving this.

How do male dogs behave? Do they know they are only allowed to have sex with you so they only try it with you? Or do they try to have sex with others as well?

My fear would be to have a male dog who thinks everything we do, he can do with others and goes around trying to fuck everyone.
 
This applies to a dog trying to mount someone else too.
To limit mounting in inappropriate moments, it is much easier to keep your dog sexually satisfied. Jerk him off before you have a visit and jerk him off every other day (if he wants to) and you are going to limit his sexual advances in inappropriate moments to basically nothing. On top of that he will be tired and calmer during your visit. This is much more easily manageable than keeping a dog sexually frustrated for a week and stressing about inappropriate mounting outside of your safe room.

For those who own male dogs, how do you ensure your male dogs don’t try to have sex with you or others when in public? What about vets, can they tell if a male dog has sex with humans?

this is an interesting question. One of my girlfriends has a male Bernese mountain dog. And this dog clearly indicates that he wants to have her. Time and again he lays his pawn on her knees, tries to sniff at her cunt. And she fights this time and again. When I tell her to be a bit more relaxed, she declines, no, he has to know his place...but in public, nothing happens. the dog does not indicate that he needs to fuck her. But regularly she lets the dog have his way with her

And when company comes, I roll up the yoga mat and put it in the closet and I've had no problems.

I think I noticed the same with my girlfriend....always when she sits on a specific couch the dog comes, sits next to her, lays his pawn on her knees and awaits her reaction...it is the couch where she had sex with the dog and me

btw this dog is by far her best friend. only her two children are more important to her.

I think clear roles are important. Is the dog your sex toy and friend, or are you his sex toy.

Or you know the fact that a dog is a living being and not a sex toy.
Refusing sex is fine, it happens even between dogs, but not being understanding of the fact that it is an organism with his own feelings and desires and treating an animal as a sex dispenser is not right either.
Do not keep your dog sexually frustrated and see it from his perspective sometimes.

My dog knows exactly when and where it is allowed, so no problem. But every woman who visits us, he tries to sniff her crotch.

it is about the two of you...the point arises when the two of you do not match...he needs more than you can give, or, you want more than he can provide. I have no clear answer on this. But my girlfriend continuously is is managing her dog. (the dog wants more than she is willing to give). she does it in a very nice and considered way, but not the less,,,
 
Depends on when’s the last time we had sex lol. He’s definitely very affectionate but won’t turn into horny unless it’s been a while for him.
