Animal Partners: How Do You Find The One?

Unfortunately, my spouse and I have split up after many, many years of being together (still friends and love each other very much, we have different goals that don’t line up lol, but that’s neither here nor there). I’ve tried to talk to some people and do hookups, but I keep getting so turned off and uninterested. Maybe it’s just the heartbreak talking.

I’ve been attracted to animals ever since I was young, and had many amazing experiences when I was growing up and in my early 20s (30 now). More and more I’m finding myself just wanting a k9 partner to live with. Before I met my spouse, I always told myself that I’d just live on my own with a dog. However I don’t want to adopt a dog and put that expectation on him, because they’re all individuals and it may not work out into the type of relationship i’m hoping for. I’m not going to lie, I really wish there was a way to go on doggy dates and find a good match for me!

For those who have animal partners that you’re dedicated to, how did you meet them? did you just get lucky? Would love to cuddle up with a warm and sweet furry romantic companion every night.

You just get lucky and their personality matches yours. Their free will is how I see it that's important as well as socializing them.

Have them choose their moments and build each block in their lives and ask them if there's anything you can improve on.

Thank you! Yeah, I definitely want to give them the space to take things at their pace, and also build a relationship with them.

They’re lovely, varied individuals and i’ve seen too many people treat animals like sex toys, and don’t want that to be me!

i'd say it goes pretty much the same as with ppl... you don't get to choose, not really.
my "the one" was initially just a broken mess of a dog who needed help. he was 10, abandoned by his "family" and left to starve to death. i didn't take him in with any vision of potential relationship or sex or anything. he just needed help and the original plan was to fix him up (both physically and mentally) and rehome him. when he started to get better and his quirks begun to show along with his unconditional gratefulness was when i started to realize i was falling for him. he gave me the best five years of my life in return for saving his. now, i'm hopeful we get to have more than one "the one"...

My girl was dominant at gentle because I let her be herself. Because I got her at a late age I couldn't train her manners however I'm glad she was very expressive. If animals really expressed themselves instead of being passive during sex we would have peak performance videos
