This is an extension/add-on to google Chrome thats currently allows for right-click and download on some sites where it´s usually not possible.

I'm not sure about Chrome, but I'm sure in Firefox you can just hold the Shift key and right click to get around it.

Yup, that works in Firefox (only). In Chrome you can still dig around in the source or disable Javascript though.
