Advice for being scratched when mounted?

Hello,

Any advice on how to best to stop getting scratched by his paws when being mounted? I have thought socks but they don't fit unless I got small socks just incase?

Doesnt happen often but don't want to be covered in marks.. or to be in discomfort taking away from the fun

i use a t-shirt, i don't really mind scratches on my thighs. deeper scratches on ribs (he's heavy and powerful) seem to heal forever and get stuck on clothing a lot, nothing like ripping a long scab off you forgot about when you want to change after/before work... the one downside of this is that i go through all my shirts pretty often.
never really thought about giving him socks, i like the "tight grip" sensation i get and i think socks thick enough to protect from his claws would dull that.
 
No one has talked about is just maintaining your guys nails properly cut/rounded; that dew claw is what really gets ya, it’s sharp as fuck, but easy to round. If you get your pup early, get his dew claw removed by the vet, it’s a vestigial digit, and can cause problems later in life, and you nip this issue in the bud
