Adding more specific areas for each country for personal ads and meetup such as north west, south west, south east, north east, etc.

I'm from UK and most of the ads I've found are posted from the north of UK, I'm from south east and it's rare for me to find anyone else from.the same region

My suggestions is that, within each country, such as United Kingdom, there could be further sections named North West, North East, South West, South East, which can tailor for more specific areas for meetups, so that those looking in the south will find more people from the south rather than just constantly finding people looking in the north, and likewise

I'm not saying just for the UK, but if you get what I mean

Why not just prefix the post title with the location?

Like I'm in the southeast portion of my county in the northwest part of my state in the northeast part of my county.

I'm southeast UK and there's quite a lot of forum sections for people in this area. Doesnt really need to be separated further

There are 12 US states that have a greater square mileage than the entirety of the UK. If they can each have a single forum then the UK can too.

Because dividing 3.8 million square miles into 50 sections makes more sense than dividing 94 thousand square miles into four sections.

But please do continue barking up the tree. I could use cheap entertainment.
It would still be incredibly difficult for many to travel from south directly up north, and north down to west, even more difficult travelling from one country to another

Those things aren't exclusive to the UK. It would be difficult for me to cross the whole state to where more people on here are from. And it would also be difficult for me to have to go to a different country. If I'm not mistaken, going between countries in Europe is much easier than going between countries here, be it to Mexico or Canada

Doesn't it take like under two hours to drive from one side of the UK to the other? Top to bottom I don't know, but like here in the US it takes like days to go coast to coast, and I think almost a day or just over a day to go northern boarder to southern boarder

All y'all are determined to find ways for unpaid people to work harder, no? Seems to some of us that y'all don't want to do the work, just pluck the fruits.

I don't see why this can't be possible ? I'd love to be able to connect more with the people around me, especially since it feels like there just aren't very many of us down south (Sussex/Surrey) compared to The North ?

lol

Sometimes.

Hell, depending on where you are in Texas, it might take 14 hrs just to get out of the state. In that same time, you could go thru 12 eastern states.

I can see both sides of the arguement, but, I also know the forum software has limits, and, above all, this isn't a hook up site, no matter what people think or use it for and so, from that point alone, you're going to get resistance.

You have absolutely made my day reading this!

In the South East of England, it can take you an hour to do 15 miles… if not less.

Volume of traffic, roads not fit for purpose, roadworks all the time. The list goes on!

I mean if we have to start adding sub sections based on traffic then we'll be here forever lmao. Imo if Canada and Russia can make do without any subforums despite being some of the biggest countries in the world I'm sure some smaller countries can make it work. I know I know. population density and all, still the biggest countries. People in Vancouver who are literally 4000km away from me post in the same section I do.
